On Nov 26, 1975 Charles Manson devotee Lynette Fromme, nickname “Squeaky”, was found guilty by a federal jury in Sacramento, CA, for trying to assassinate U.S. President Ford.
She was sentenced to life, but paroled after 34 years in 2009. She published a book about her life in 2018 titled Reflexion: Lynette Fromme's Story of Her Life with Charles Manson 1967–1969. Fromme was not involved in the Tate-Labianca murders for which the Manson cult is best known.
Nevertheless, she is portrayed by Dakota Fanning in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
