Missing: Tyler Lee

Tyler Lee was last seen in Olney, IL on the evening of September 6, 2024. According to friends, he is a married father who works at the Walmart Distribution Center Plant in Olney for a company called Plug Power. He and his wife are reportedly expecting a child due in February.

His family fears that he may have decided to take off but they are deeply worried for his safety; according to people who know him, he recently went on a trip Disney with his family, and it would be unlike him to simply disappear. He was close with his father, who he also worked with.

His car was discovered near Ritter’s Farm Supply in Calhoun, IL, and there is conflicting information that his phone may or may not have been found in a ditch nearby. Reportedly, he went to buy a yellow Boss GT Mustang that has been sitting and available for sale at the location near to where his previous car was found.

According to the information available at this time, it is believed that he completed the purchase of the yellow mustang, and it is believed to be what he is currently driving. It's unknown why he purchased the vehicle, abandoning his current vehicle which was his grandmothers truck, according to friends of the family.

Investigators have reportedly spoken to the individual who sold him the car; they are not a suspect at this time. The seller is reportedly trying to be helpful, and said that the sale was a quick interaction where Tyler handed over money for a car he already knew he wanted to buy.
