Twittergate Part 2

I just want to again credit

Matt Taibbi
for breaking this incredible and terrifying story. This story is in no way, shape, or form a partisan issue, nor is it a story about Hunter Biden or Hunter Biden’s laptop, or about Twitter independently moderating content on its platform.

This story is about both parties of the American government using their influence and connections to collude with aspects of the media to violate the right to free speech, the right to free press, and the right to freedom of association; to violate the inalienable rights of all mankind, but especially of Americans. Here is the creator of Dogecoin putting it rather succinctly.

Here, a popular Tesla fan who knows something about media manipulation refers to an email from founder Jack Dorsey

Twitter is a victim of this as surely as anyone was; the government put it in an unfair position by leveraging its regulatory authority, and abusing the idea that there are limits to free speech. Several tweets mention internal discord at Twitter regarding the censorship.

Former head of Twitter Safety Yoel Roth had this to say just before the story went public:

While unclear at the time of this publication, he may think it was a principled mistake because he appears to have lied to the FEC

Amplifying the tragedy, this fascism went international and was not limited to the United States. More will likely develop on this in the days, weeks, and months ahead

Not to be outdone, and despite the absence of any smoking gun evidence pointing towards specific political operators, this has yet again caused the specter of civil war to enter the American discourse, as former President Trump calls for the suspension of the US Constitution.

Can you tell Trump wrote this?

Maybe the answer is making principled and expensive decisions that diminish conflicts instead of creating new ones.
